With R & C safely installed in a cafe, it was time to have a wander along the streets. It was with great surprise that I saw someone I know. A friend from NAB days was walking along one of the streets of Hoi An with her family, enjoying some school holiday time in Vietnam & China. It was a lovely surprise. We had been thinking that we would see someone we know as we always do when on holiday so this meeting was great. I was craving a bit of a chat so over drinks at sunset at our hotel the next night, this was exactly what we did - how nice!
1. The world really is a small place
2. It is great seeing people you like who you haven't had contact with for a while
3. It is good for kids to be able to interact with others & form fast interactions
4. Sunsets shared with friends are even more beautiful
5. Always wear your lipstick, rather than a sweat-covered veneer as we have been sporting all holiday, because you never know who you will meet
